Nesting boxes should replace tree cavities in which cave-dwelling birds usually make their home. They provide shelter and encourage sedentarisation, so they will remain in your garden.
Birds should be able to feed close to your home without fear. Position the feeders in an open area near vegetation, high up and sheltered from the wind and rain. Make sure they are out of the reach of cats and any other possible predators.
